The marking exercise of 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams has come to an end and the results for each candidate who sat for the exams are anticipated to be released in week time period.
This year, a total of 903, 260 candidates sat for the KCSE examinations which were done from 23rd October to 24th November 2023. The exams started with projects then followed by KCSE oral, practical and theory papers.
The marking exercise was done by KCSE KNEC examiners and the process is awaiting for the releasing of the results to the public. It will be done by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu at the Kenya National Examination Council headquarters Mtihani House.
The KCPE results are already out and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment.(KPSEA) marking is already done . The Grade 6 learners will have their results early January 2024. This was done so since the official reopening of schools was scheduled on 8th January 2023.
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC)Â will announce KPSEA results to public and private schools through an online platform. Respective schools will download the results from online , print them and issue them to parents and candidates concerned at no cost.
All the 1, 282, 574 candidates who sat for the KPSEA exams will transition to Junior Secondary Schools for Grade 7.
