In a statement presented by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS) Tuesday 12 September, students who missed placements at various learning institutions have until 16 September 2023 when the application will be lapsing.
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) deadline application has been extended giving chance to students who had not made applications . However those willing to revise their courses have an eye to do so to the KUCCPS portal.
“If you applied for KMTC courses via the KUCCPS portal but missed an opportunity, we have some good news for you. You can now log in to KUCCPs and select an alternative course at No cost. This portal will remain open from today until September 16th, 2023. Note: This revision is open for a few selected courses,” the Kenya Medical Training College stated.
It was noted that 289 public training institutions and 30 private universities in Kenya received students from KMTC in various courses.
This comes days after Education CS Ezekiel Machogu extended the period for higher education funding from HELB perhaps for students who had not applied to revise the application. On September 6, Ezekiel Machogu extended the deadline to October 7 2023.
The statement read, “The application period for loans and scholarships that was initially scheduled to lapse on September 7, 2023, has now been extended to October 7, 2023.”
