How to Check 2024 Form One Placement Results

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, while presiding over the 2024 Form One placement at Lenana School on Monday, said the placements were done in accordance to candidate choices and other criteria.

KCPE Placement Results

“Some students were placed in schools of equivalent standing outside their counties. This includes those from counties with inadequate capacity,” said Education CS Machogu. He added that  a learner may end up in secondary school in another country due to inadequate space.

1,406,557 candidates who sat the KCPE examination in 28,533 examination centres across the country are expected to join Form One early next year. Parents and guardians can now know Secondary Schools their children were placed after downloading the placement letters directly from the Ministry of Education website (http://www.education.go.ke/).

On the Ministry’s website, they will then search Form One placements. This will direct them to the Form One selection page, where they can access the placement results.

The results can also be accessed directly through the Kenya Education Management Information System (KEMIS), by clicking this link.

Cs Machogu later assured parents that there will be full secondary transition and that school fees for both boarding and day school will remain unchanged.

“Gov’t upholds its commitment to providing free day secondary education which includes allocation for tuition and operation expenses. The fees charged in secondary schools will remain unchanged in 2024. Schools will continue to receive funds based on accurate enrolment data,” said Ezekiel Machogu. He again assured Kenyans that the website where parents are supposed to access placements results was 100% accurate and that it had been tested and proven.
