Radio 47 is media station owned by Cape Media Group managed by Mount Kenya University Founders. TV47 is also owned by the group as well.
On an interview with online media group, the well equipped with skills Radio Presenter Fred Arocho reveales why he had to quit Radio Jambo in favour of Radio 47. 
“Kusema ukweli offer walinipa ilikua zaidi. Radio Jambo walikua wananilipa vizuri siwezi kataa lakini hao walipitiliza….” he said. He openly added that while at Radio 47 he receives a fat salary.
Fred Arocho stayed at Radio Jambo for 13 years and therefore it was a high time for him to explore in other Radio stations. He co-hosts alongside Hassan Mwana wa Ali who also left Radio Maisha for Radio 47.
Among other radio station’s presenters are Eva Mwalili alias Mama Taifa who hosts the Nuru 47 morning show, Emmanuel Mwashure, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, Manucho, Mbaruk , Dr Ofweneke among others.
