FA Cup Final 2023: Manchester City Vs Manchester United

Yesterday Manchester United had a 0-0 draw match with Brighton at Wembley stadium, this turned out for penalty kicks and Manchester United overcame Brighton in a tense penalty shot out. On the penalty kicks, Manchester United emerged victory with 7 penalty shots against Brighton who had 6.

Manchester United’s player Victor Lindelof became the scorer in the penalty shoot-out which led Manchester qualifying for the finals.

The game was so tough during the 120 minutes of the match despite no team managed to score a goal in opponent post. They later landed into penalty kicks.

Robert Sanchez of Brighton was chosen Player Of The Match after showing extreme superb and saving successful shots from Manchester United. His save denied player Rashford a score in the extra time, as well as the other big shots on target during the game.

In charge and under his managerial service, Coach Erik Ten Hag has promised to add the FA Cup to the Carabao Cup which they already won in his first season at Old Trafford. “… We will give everything and when I say everything, that is everything, Erik Ten Hag said.

On the other hand, English Premier League close Champions Manchester City qualified for FA Cup Final after overwhelming victory against Sheffield United. Manchester City are now in race for Premier League, Champions League and now the FA Cup. The qualified for the Champions League last game after a beat to Bayern Munich. They are also 5 points below Arsenal on the English Premier League, despite of their games in hand.

Manchester United during the mid-week lost a 3-0 to Sevilla in the quarter finals for Europa League. They lose 5-2 onto their aggregate with Sevilla.

After yesterday’s match, United boss said, “What we have proved is that we can deal with setbacks and we can bounce back between games.”

The FA Cup Finals is expected to take place again at Wembley on Saturday ,June 3
