Comedian Erick Omondi to Quit Entertainment Industry After 16 Year Service

The Sensational comedian has been a story and of Comedy day in day out. With a maximum of 4 Million followers on Instagram, Erick Omondi has been of recent pushing the idea of rise in the cost of living in the country. He seem to be the most followed comedian in the country as well.

Speaking on an interview with Ramogi TV Presenter, the comedian said he has been in the entertainment industry since 2003 and that it’s a high time for him to pave way for others and go focus on changing the economic crisis that is currently facing the country.

He also said that he started the journey of Comedy in the year 2003 as a stand up comedian. His popularity arose after being featured in the Churchill Show, a TV 47 Show hosted by Mwalimu Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill. That is where his platform was built and later ventured fully into comedy industry.

The President Of Comedy Africa has been suspended for three times after protesting over the cost of living in the country at the Parliament buildings. However, he was also arrested when attempting to deliver people’s CVS to State House on March 28.

He added that many Kenyans are going through hard times to aquire basic needs as the country itself has resources to offer to the citizens. He was also asked if he was being used or is involved in any political party and added that he is doing that as Erick Omondi
