• Alupe University is an extensive education institution based in Busia County offering quite a number of courses in the country. It was offered its Chatter ownership as a university by the Former President Honorable Uhuru Kenyatta the year 2022.

The Institution scheduled its cultural activities which partake on the night of Friday 7th April 2023. Many students at the University participated in different events. Among them was the cultural dances from different tribes, Modeling, Eating Competitions, Comedy and Arts, Music among others.

Emmanuel Amoyi is a student at the same university who contested on the modeling part. 

He is a First Year student proceeding into second year persuing Bachelors Degree in Education Arts (English Literature). He was among the 16 participants who were contesting for the Mr and Miss Popularity of Alupe University. He started showing interest in modeling and creativity when he gathered information on modeling awareness from the Former Mr. Valentine of Bungoma County The Msafii, who again participates in giggs designing.

The Msafi Collections was his designers who made him look neat and pleasing compared to the other modelers.

His Creative Wear brought the idea of Drug and Drug substances which was the theme of the event actually. This made the contestants liase with the podium and gave his correct match needed by the gudges and the theme itself.

However, on his Dinner date wear, he presented himself neatly courtesy of Msafi Collections where he responded well with his dinner date Lady who gave strong smiles that made them emerge the best.

This was his first trial and luckily Emmanuel emerged a 2nd runner up of Mr. Popularity Kibabii University. Congratulations to him him.

Kibabii University conducted its general elections 2023/24 Friday of March 31 2023. As it has been a norm in the institution, elections are carried out and the leaders elected rule for an academic year. Several students vied for different posts who of which winners were declared  in the afternoon .

The Election Board led by the Returning Officer Dr. Robert Kati who is also the lecturer of the Institution with openness announced the results as per respective seat and the winner.

The elections were conducted free and fair as the security was tight. No violence or riots was observed as seen in the campaigns . Supporters for the declared party celebrated peacefully over the victory made.

The opposition party led by George Ochieng Ochieng despite losing but provided numerous representative .
