Size 8 and Dj Mo allegedly break up after 11 years of marriage

Pastor Linet Munyali, also known as Size 8, has announced that she is now allegedly single after eleven years of marriage to Samuel Muraya, aka DJ Mo.

The mother of two unfollowed the entertainer on Instagram, leaving fans to wonder whether they were serious about the split or they are clout chasing.

“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace, and sometimes it does not work, but all in all, God is still on the throne! I’ve been married for 11 years, and now I start the journey of singlehood; God is still on the throne. I worship you, Yahweh.” said the musician turned pastor.

Nicholas Jackson DEFENDS team-mate Enzo Fernandez amid Argentina’s racism

Chelsea’s forward Nicholas Jackson has thrown his backing behind embattled team-mate Enzo Fernandez after the midfielder filmed himself singing a ‘racist’ chant during Argentina’s Copa America celebrations.

Chelsea Football Club went ahead to clear the air after releasing the statement over the same.

“Chelsea Football Club finds all forms of discriminatory behaviour completely unacceptable. We are proud to be a diverse, inclusive club where people from all cultures, communities and identities feel welcome.

We acknowledge and appreciate our player’s public apology and will use this as an opportunity to educate.

The Club has instigated an internal disciplinary procedure, ” read the statement.

Chelsea player, Enzo Fernandez was accused of ‘uninhibited racism’ by his French International team-mate by Wesley Fofana being the first player to raise eyebrows. A number of other Blues players went ahead unfollowing Fernandez on social media.

Jackson however opted not to sail the same boat and instead took to Instagram to defend his under-fire colleague, although his first post raised more than a few eyebrows. The clib he shared on his Instagram story showed Enzo Fernandez Interacting with a young black child.

“Enzo Fernandez and this young fan,” he captioned.

 

Inspector General Of Police Japhet Koome Resigns

Ruto nominated IG Koome in September 2022 to the position of Inspector General of Police.

“HIS EXCELLENCY William Samoei Ruto, Ph.D., CGH, President and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces, has on this 12th day of July, 2024, accepted the resignation of Eng. Japheth N. Koome, MGH, as the Inspector General of the National Police Service,” the statement reads in part presented by Statehouse spokesperson Hussein Mohammed.

Consequently, Mr. Eliud Langat will be the Acting Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, and Mr. James Kamau will be the Acting Deputy Inspector General of the Administration Police Service.

‘Anguka Nayo’, Pastor Ng’ang’a Reacts After Ruto Sacking All CSs

Neno Evangelism founder, Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a, celebrated President William Ruto’s decision to sack all Kenyan Cabinet secretaries during a national address yesterday.

After the president announcing  the mega decision on Thursday, July, 11 during a national address Pastor Ng’ang’a went ahead laughing after none of the Cabinet Secretary was spared.

 

“We have hit how many? All of them? Even Kindiki?” Ng’ang’a said laughing out loud. “If today I met you, I would have bought you(President Ruto) a cup of tea. It’s just that I can’t find you. Kick them out. Do you remember I have had problems with this government?” he added.

“For those who don’t speak English please switch off your TV. Today I want to talk in English because my friend, the minister of Roads (Kipchumba Murkomen) has gone home,” he spoke hilariously referring to Murkomen.

“Go, I told you you will go home. I am still coming after you. I swear before God. Even in your grave, you will tell people that God is in heaven.”

Petition Filed To Stop President Ruto From Signing Finance Bill 2024 Into Law

A team of lawyers has filed a petition seeking to stop President William Ruto from assenting the controversial Finance Bill, 2024 into law. The petitioners want the court to stop the president Ruto from signing the bill pending hearing and determination of the application.

The lawyers, Kibe Mungai, Ndegwa Njiru, Fanya Mambo Kinuthia, Peter Koira, Lempaa Suiyianka and Mt.Kenya Jurist Association are also challenging the budget-making process for the coming Financial Year arguing that it was unlawful and was marred by controversy and political contests.

“The budget-making process has been vitiated by the involvement and dictation of the policy preferences and agenda of foreign governments and corporations spearheaded by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which has taken effective control of Kenya’s National Treasury to the detriment of the sovereignty of the Kenyan people in matters of public finance,” they petitioners presented.

 

Several protesters reportedly shot outside Parliament

The anti-Finance Bill protest took an ugly turn after several protesters were reportedly shot outside Parliament on Tuesday. Police were forced to open fire after the protesters began marching towards Parliament where lawmakers were voting to pass the controversial Bill.

A police lorry was burnt down outside parliament. Members of parliament were evacuated as the group confronted police.

The chaos went on past 3 pm.

“I therefore urge all agencies in the justice sector to process any criminal actions lawfully and to investigate and address the allegations regarding abductions related to the ongoing protests with utmost agency,” The Chief Justice Martha Koome said condemning security agencies for violating citizens’

Government to Employ 20,000 More Teachers by July

Speaking at Kolanya Girl’s National School in Bungoma County on Wednesday, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said the government will employ an additional 20,000 teachers to improve the teacher-student ratio and address the acute shortage being witnessed in the country.

“So far since taking office, this government has employed a record 56,750 teachers and as a ministry, we have received additional money to employ 20,000 teachers this financial year,” the education minister said. He admitted that the government had already employed 50,000 teachers since he took over the office in September 2022.

The CS also affirmed his commitment to improving school infrastructure across the country.
