Mikel Arteta wants more depth in attack and there is a chance that Sterling, who has no future at Chelsea under manager Enzo Maresca might join the club. Arteta does have a strong relationship with Sterling from their time together at Manchester City, when the Basque was assistant to Pep Guardiola.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich for a €70m package.
