Manchester United fans, led by the 1958 supporters’ group, are organizing a significant anti-Glazer protest before this Sunday’s match against Arsenal at Old Trafford. The protest aims to address concerns over financial mismanagement, rising ticket prices, and the perceived decline of the club under the Glazer family’s ownership.
The 1958 group has urged supporters to wear black attire to symbolize how they feel the club is “slowly dying.” They stated, “The club is slowly dying before our eyes, on and off the pitch, and the blame lies squarely at the current ownership model.”
The planned march will commence at 3 pm on Sunday, starting from the Tollgate pub. Fans will proceed along Talbot Road, Warwick Road, and Sir Matt Busby Way, making a stop at the Trinity statue before moving through the Munich Tunnel to reach Old Trafford.
This demonstration follows a series of fan-led actions expressing dissatisfaction with the club’s management and direction. The 1958 group has emphasized the urgency of their cause, urging fans to unite and take action to prevent further decline.
